Vibration & Sound

All things and beings in the universe are connected with each other, visibly or
invisibly, and through vibrations a communication is established between them
on all the planes of existence.
Motion is manifested in everything within the Universe – nothing is at rest – everything moves, vibrates.. This motion generates frequencies, which then generate sound.
Whether we hear it, everything has a sound, a vibration all its own. The velocity  of the movement determines the specific sound. All organisms on this planet use vibration energy,  because all organisms are made out of atoms and molecules, you and I and every living thing are radiating energy.
Vibration manifests in two stages. In its original condition vibration is inaudible and invisible, but in its first stage towards manifestation it becomes audible, and its next step is visible.
We are constantly being vibrated, on a cellular level, by heard and unheard sound frequencies. Sound vibrations have a tremendous influence over human functionality as sound touches and influences our emotions like no other source of input or expression. If we accept that sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through our bones and our skin, basically through every cell in our bodies. Sound and  music are nutrients for the nervous system. The auditory mechanism is a mega-portal to the brain and sonic tools empower health, learning and productivity.

When the body, or parts of , fall into a state of low vibrational frequency oftentimes result from illnesses or mental imbalances of varying degrees, one feels “out of  tune”. In this sort of a weakened state, a stronger and more powerful source, such as the sound vibration of gongs and Himalayan singing bowls, has the tendency to re-generate a higher and  stronger vibratory field.

When one’s awareness is split into fragments, one’s vibration slows. Raising one’s vibratory frequency prevents the falling into unhealthy feeling habits, negative thinking and sluggish physical health. When we are healthy, everything in our bodies is vibrating in harmony or resonance.  Dis-ease results when a part of our body begins to vibrate at a different rate, out of harmony with  the rest.

Sound vibration can help restore regulatory function to a body out of tune and helps to maintain as well as enhance regulatory function to a body in tune. It may alter cellular functions through energetic effects;  it may calm the mind and therefore the body; or it may have emotional effects, which influence neurotransmitters and neuropeptides, which in turn help to regulate the immune system – the healer that resides within us all.

Therapeutic Massage & Relaxation Treatments

“I became intrigued with the idea that simple touch can be so healing and so powerful affecting all of your body’s system in ways that can influence much more than physical body, but also the mind and the spirit.”

The practice of using touch as a healing method derives from customs and techniques rooted in ancient history. The ancient Greeks and Romans used massage as a primary form of medical treatment and the Chinese had documented the benefits of massage as far back as 3,000 BC.
Today, modern massage has almost turned full circle, back to the teachings and holistic approaches of the Chinese and the Ancient Greeks and utilising techniques from both the East and the West.

It is now widely recognised that almost everyone can benefit from therapeutic massage which provides relief from pain, anxiety, stress and even insomnia. It can be stimulating or soothing, it can provide a context of recovery by inducing a sense of well being.
